VANA'S HORSEMANSHIP & BARREL RACING CLINICS
Vana was practically born on a horse, as she is the daughter of parents prominent in the horse racing field. Her mother was a successful horse breeder and her father was a world renowned trainer and driver of harness horses. He won the Hambletonian three times and at the age of 87 he is still active as a consultant to major farms. Growing up on the racetrack bred a keen sense of adventure and competitiveness in Vana. She has always striven for the unique synergy of horse and rider competing at the highest levels together.

Some of her accomplishments include:
  • Six-time Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Qualifier
  • Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Fastest Time
  • Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Champion
  • Women’s Professional Rodeo Association
     Rookie of the Year
  • Two-time Women’s Professional Rodeo Association Southeastern Circuit Champion
  • Two-time Calgary Stampede Champion

Even though being retired from full time barrel racing competition, she ranks among the top ten all time money earners of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association.
Since retiring from rodeo competition, Vana has turned her talents toward helping others achieve their personal or professional best. Her deep instinct in working with horses coupled with years of barrel racing experience has led to her success as a coach in the field, inspiring and training a new generation of riders. Vana specializes in buiding strong, confident riders and respectful, willing horses.

We invite you to experience Vana’s personal touch to help you achieve your own greatness.
