Leigh Moore, Director of Marketing & Events ManagerHaving previously been in the corporate workforce for fifteen years, her experience enables her to manage and organize all events taking place at Cross Creek Rodeo Ranch. Leigh is also an experienced camp counselor and serves in this role during camp time. As Director of Marketing, Leigh oversees all advertising, promotions and media for Cross Creek Rodeo Ranch, Cross Creek Rodeo Company and Vana's Barrel Clinics. Leigh is the mother of three children, ages 17, 9 and 2, and runs her own business, Lchaim Photography & Design.
Liza Sullivan, Camp CounselorFor the past 11 years, Liza Sullivan has been an integral part of Cross Creek Rodeo Co. In additon to carrying the American Flag during the Grand Entry of Cross Creek Rodeos, this cowgirl has covered many duties including, taking care of the saddle horses, working in the pens with the timed event cattle, and helping load bulls into the bucking chutes. Liza also enjoys barrel racing.
Valen Cook, Camp CounselorValen Cook is no stranger to the rodeo arena or the equine world. She is a former 3 - time South Carolina High School Barrel Racer and Pole Bending Champion, a 4 - time qualifier to the National High School Rodeo Finals, and All American Quarter Horse Youth Champion. Just like with her barrel racing career, Valen takes charge during Cross Creek events organizing pre-event activities, setting a pivot for opening ceremonies at the Cross Creek Rodeos and also working with the livestock. Valen is married and the mother of two children. She is also an avid Break - Away Roper and Team Roper.
Joan Pennington, Camp CounselorJoan is the grandmother of 6 grandchildren and enjoys teaching children of all ages. Joan has worked counseling children for several years with God's help and guidance. Joan has organized and guided numerous international tours. Joan serves as a Camp Counselor at the Ranch.
